The Milli Maker isn't the only contest that we breakdown for you. Every week this year we'll be looking at various contests looking for trends that will help us attack them in the coming weeks.

Cash games, Single/3 Max entries, and GPP's.

This article will focus solely on cash games.

You'll see that last week was a low scoring week, overall, and 138 points was enough to pass the cash line in the massive double up. In cash games, generally you should just build your lineup with chalky players and that's what you'll find here.

QB

Dak and Herbert were both chalk coming in at 13.81% and 26.07% ownership. Herbert scored 19.72 points over Dak's 8.48. This match up , overall, ended up being a bit of a disappointment considering how high the game was projected to be in regards to scoring. Liking the WR options better with Dallas, I chose Dak but went back and forth on this all week. The roster % projections ended up being much different than I expected, and I'm glad the decision to play Dak didn't prevent me from cashing.

RB

The two chalkiest plays at RB were Chris Carson and Najee Harrie 26% and 36% ownership. Carson produced 15 points and Najee Harris scored 19.10 points thanks to a late receiving Touchdown. However, I went with a little less chalkier player than Carson with Chubb at 16.80 points. While Carson was chalkier and cheaper than Chubb, I was far more worried about the Ten/Sea game being a shootout that went through Metcalf/Lockett on Offense, leaving Carson as the odd man out. Chubb was riskier with his price tag, but his floor is safer as the Cleveland offense generally runs through Chubb.

WR

Next we have Keenan Allen/Kupp who were definitely the Chalk at WR. Allen was 35% and Kupp at 30%. Allen was a bit of a disappointment at his 7K Salary with only 17 points, but pairing him with Kupp more than made up for his score with 39 points at only $6000 - 6.5X! Another Chalky play of Lamb (18%) was in this lineup at $6400 and produced almost 3x with 17.40 points. Cedrick Wilson was the only WR player on this roster that wasn't chalky, coming in at 5.94% but only 4.5 points. However, at his $3100 price tag, this didn't really hurt me. The decision to play Lamb over Cooper at $400 less ended up paying off and making up for my poor Dak/Herbert decision. Lamb outscored Cooper by 10.6 points.

TE

The last chalky play was Fant at 22%. Fant was only $4200 and in a good spot vs the Jags so when he was one of the chalkier TE options, there was no way I wasn't playing him when I decided I was going with so many WR's above 6K.

DST

I more or less punted the DST position with the Eagles because Jimmy G has been known to turn the ball over at times, and I generally do not pay up for Defense unless it's a big GPP and I'm really playing matchups for a potential high score at low ownership.

In conclusion, this was a prime example of playing the chalky players to cash in cash games. However, the margin between winning and losing can be so small when the chalk doesn't smash, as it didn't this week with the exception of Kupp. The decision to play Dak over Herbert could've been the difference between winning and losing but playing a cheaper Lamb over Cooper and Fant over Higbee was 2 decisions that made up for the Dak decision and brought me to 138.18 points. I doubled my money in the massive $5 single entry double up and this was my only cash lineup in all cash contests.
